It was in May 2013 when I went to this place for the first time though I've been to different towns of Zambales. It was a tiresome and funny trip leaving Manila at 3:00 am to avoid the heavy traffic. It only took us three and a half hour to reach our destination– Pundaquit, San Antonio Zambales.
We stayed at the Canoe Beach Resort, but prior to check-in, we had already contacted a boatman for our island hopping as we wanted to explore the beauteous island and islets of Zambales.

The place where the resort is located seems to be a boat dock which isn't appealing to the eye. However, everything has changed when we explored the place. I was struck by the lovely and captivating islets. The sea water is as lucid as diamond, the sea breeze is cooling and stress relieving. It was all dainties.
The wild forest look of Anawangin is alluring and enchanting. The brownish sand and the forest filled with trees are worthy of an overnight experience. It's innate picturesque view and ambiance is intagrammable.

How to get there?

| Pretty and handsome faces, yeah? |
We rented a van going to our destination. Canoe Beach Resort is 5km away from Evangelista St. in San Antonio. On the resort's website, there's a location map. Click here.

If you're travelling via Public transportation you can just take Victory Liner bus from Caloocan, Cubao or Pasay to Iba, Zambales and inform the conductor to drop you off at the San Antonio public market. From San Antonio public market, you can ride a tricycle going to Pundaquit.
Easy, right? But always remember to be a responsible traveler.
